The Indian Hills Theatre, located in Omaha, Nebraska and the last surviving round Super-Cinerama theatre in the world, was torn down on August 20, 2001, by Methodist Health Systems, a local non-profit hospital. Film stars, the American Society of Cinematographers, the local Landmarks commission, and most importantly, the people of the City of Omaha, begged Methodist to keep the theatre intact but it was quickly demolished after the non-profit took ownership. Methodist destroyed a unique piece of cinema history on that day, a beautiful, still-functioning theatre which can never be replaced.

This site will feature photos of the theatre both before and after demolition, the history of the Indian Hills theatre, Cinerama memorabilia and eventually blueprints of the building.
